From Linda and Jim Leek of Kansas City KS
FROSTY-Ch OTCH Walkoway's Frosted Flakes, OA, NAC, NJC, UDX, HC TUGGER-Walkoway's Rum Tum Tugger, OA, NJC
14 November 1997
We made our first plunge into NADAC this wkend and had a great time. I
handled both dogs on Sat as Jim sat home with a cold.
Tried Gamblers and neither beardie were in a gambling mood. Frosty
qualified in the first Nov round, but Tugger missed a contact. In the
second Nov round, Frosty qualified again and Tugger decided that all
yellow zones were for jumping over! Both qualified in Jumpers (no pesky
yellow zones there!!!).
On Sun, Jim slept in while I ran both dogs in Gamblers again. Guess my
beardies aren't the gambling types. Mom could use some handling smarts
here. Jim showed up to show Tugger in the rest of his classes and to
save his reputation! First Nov round Tugger missed just one contact and
Frosty qualified again! (I think that's a Nov title for her!) Second
round Tugger remembered that all yellow zones were for stepping in and
qualified!!!!! (Due to Jim's superior handling if you ask him.) Frosty
qualified a FOURTH time!! Both dogs qualified in Jumpers too!!!! (I
think that's a Nov Jumpers title for both!)
