Leslie Dawson-North's Moxie
Agility Gold Award
January 1, 2000 - August 27, 2014
"With great sorrow, our Beloved Moxie crossed Rainbow bridge. Tragically Moxie had to have surgery for an obstruction and didn't recover. She was a physically strong girlie that we expected to have with us for at least another year. I can't tell you how devastated we are and just how much we miss her. This was my last photo I took of her with her favourite squeaky, which she was also cremated with. She is now resting at home."

Moxie finished in 2nd place in 16 inch vets at the AAC National championships held this past weekend in New Brunswick, just north of Maine. She is one of only 11 dogs at the entire competition to finish with over 600 points and Moxie came in 5th overall in points.
2/26/12
Moxie's achieved a Double GOLD Title with the AAC on Feb 12, 2012. This was her GOLD AWARD TITLE, which is 50 master standard legs and 100 masters games. She also, the same day, achieved her GOLD GAMBLERS Title, which is 50 masters gamblers legs. We will work toward her Lifetime Achievement for which she needs 48 more standard legs.
6/07/12 - AAC Alberta Regionals
Hi Libby: Just wanted to send you some pics from last weekend. Moxie at the age of 12.5 placed 2nd with over 600 points in the Vet double drop class. Brisk finished in 7th overall with over 500 points in the 22" reg class and Dash finished in 13th with 472 points in the 22" reg class. The Regional qualifier was held in Medicine Hat, Alberta Jun 3-5th. We are now qualified and are heading to the AAC Nationals in British Columbia in August. Can't say how pleased I am with all my girls, especially my old girlie, Moxie. She only had 5 faults over 6 runs. WOW! Leslie Dawson-North

8/20/12 - AAC Nationals
Hi Libby: Just to let you know that Moxie placed 2nd at the AAC Nationals in the 10" Double drop Vet Class. Moxie is 12.5 yrs old and still running like a youngster!! What a girl!Hi Libby: A VET's class is for dogs 7yrs and older. As they get older you have an option to double drop them so they can play agility longer. Moxie was a 22" reg dog. I put her in the VET class at age 10 where she jumped 16". Two years ago I started running her in the DDV class where she now jumps 10". There is no, double or spread jumps in the VET's class and the A-frame is lowered to 4' 7". Moxie in now 12.5 yrs old and loves agility still. Hope this clarifies things.
