“I told Jackye that I have judged a few National Specialties and ours is the best by far.
We had a ring full of workers throughout the day. Everybody chipped in which contributed to the success. I wish we could have given more Q’s out.
We had a great weather day and a nice field and facility. The indoor restrooms were also a bonus.
The relay course turned out what looked to be fun despite only having 4 tunnels to work with. I would have like to do it with my dogs. The barking beardies seemed to approve.”
CONGRATULATIONS to our High In Trial Winners!!
Wendy Amos' Maggie qualified 4 times, Lorraine Wong's Geordie qualified 3 times, Pam Harris' Mary and Kona qualified 2 times each, and 9 Beardies qualified once.

I am not sure that I can add anything to what Jeff has so eloquently stated!!
I do want to thank so many people who made agility at the National 2015 such a fun and memorable competition/get together! First, Jackye Dunn, you did everything from securing a great site (Lacey Regional Sports Center), a great judge,(Jeff Ipser) to being sure we had a wonderful concessionaire, more than we needed canopies, close by indoor bathroom facilities, and to top all you were always available to answer any of my questions or concerns. THANK YOU!!!
Next, I would like to thank Jana Dozet, Chief Ring Steward, who organized all the workers all day! The only comment I heard from Jana was “so many people are volunteering I have to find jobs for them.” Patsy Sullivan, Molly McNamara and Joanne Williamson were there to work though they didn’t have dogs to trial. Patsy fittingly won the “worker’s raffle prize” which was a $50.00 Visa card. You were very much appreciated!!
Another big THANK you to Jamie Stevens and Karen Gutheil, for taking care of the goodies and especially coffee early in the a.m., as well as taking care of ribbons and prizes. Along with that, I would like to thank Sharon Prassa and Shannon Smart for selecting such beautiful ribbons and awesome trophies!!!
I would also like to thank “The Robins”, trial secretaries for this event. When we arrived at 06:30 a.m. Monday morning, they were already setting the rings along with their very able course builder Dan!! Again they were the best blend in professionalism and camaraderie!! I did tell you that I wasn’t to be trusted with the “big” measuring tapes, but am glad you could fix it! At 6:30 a.m. Jack Buhite and Matt Beddoe were also there to start the ring and course set up. Not far behind were so many workers that I lost track. Please accept my heart felt Thank You to each and every one who was there.
But most of all I want to thank all the exhibitors who came with their smiles, willingness to work and encouragement for each other. I am so proud to call you all friends!!
Karen Norteman was awarded “BAD Member of the Year”; Karen has been instrumental in so many ways, but especially in the formation of the BAD website, that Libby maintains with the help of Karen. Thank you Karen!!
